DAP can also be used for any mode or multimodal transport. Delivery is at the named destination, ready for unloading; import clearance and related import obligations remain with the buyer.
Free on Board
FOB is only for sea or inland-waterway transport when delivery occurs on board the buyer-nominated vessel at the named port of shipment. It is not a universal term for every channel.
